Safety Practices

At Astro Amusements we put the safety of our guests and our operators as top priority.

All of our rides and inflatables are TSSA licensed and permitted. They undergo annual inspections by the TSSA in order to renew these licenses. We also have four licensed ride TSSA ADR mechanics, five Licensed Inflatable TSSA ADM mechanics, and one licensed go-kart TSSA ADK mechanic on staff. These mechanics, along with outside licensed tradespeople (welders, electricians etc.), perform daily inspections on all rides.

In addition to this, they follow strict maintenance requirements set out by each ride manufacturer for every ride. Our on-staff mechanics have also pursued continued educational programs in the ride maintenance and inspection field including attending the AIMS International safety Seminar and the NAARSO Safety Seminar.

One of our mechanics has achieved a Level I Inspection Certificate, and a NAARSO Level 1 Inspection Certificate.

Andrew Gidaro, our Director of Operations and Business Development, is a member of the TSSA Amusement Devices Advisory Council, which is a group of industry stakeholders providing safety guidance and feedback to the TSSA policy and procedure makers. This safety policy has led to over 20 years of operating rides without a major incident.
